12-bit 10.25GS/s ADC can digitize RF signals up to 7 GHz

ADI's AD9213 is a 12-bit RF analog-to-digital converter designed for the next generation of software defined systems in aerospace and defense, instrumentation and communications.

It boasts a high sample rate of 10.25GS/s as well as integrated post processing for further performance gains in narrow-band applications. Delivered in a 12x12mm BGA package, the device delivers 2.5 times sampling compared to other similar devices while offering a greater system dynamic range for better discrimination between signals. Drawing only 5.1W at 10Gsps, the chip offers superior noise performance over a wide signal bandwidth, with a noise spectral density of 154dBFS/Hz. Enhanced multi-chip synchronization supports phased array applications with a 1 sample accuracy.
