The standalone IP54-protected Metrix SCOPIX IV oscilloscopes are equipped with 2 or 4 totally-isolated channels (from one another and from earth with 600 V CAT III safety).

They offer a bandwidth from 60MHz to 300MHz and support a sampling rate of 2.5GS/s in one-shot mode and 100GS/s maximum in ETS zoom mode. The units feature a 12-bit converter with a vertical resolution of 0.025%. In addition to its advanced trigger functions (pulse width, counting, delay), the SCOPIX IV also proposes 20 automatic measurements per channel associated with the cursors for full analysis. Operating up to eight hours from a fast charging battery, the instrument can share measurement results via any of its Ethernet/WiFi/USB/μSD interfaces. The Ethernet network interface with ScopeNet web server can also be used to take control of the instrument remotely and transfer curves or screenshots without any additional software.

To speed up measurements, 30 direct command keys are on the front panel.

Analysis modes include multi meter, analyser, recorder and viewing of the files recorded on the oscilloscope. The backlit 7" WVGA TFT colour touch screen makes it particularly easy to read, with menus available in more than 13 languages. The keypad on the front panel has been completely redesigned to make it simpler to use with protective gloves. It includes 5 specific direct-access zones (Utilities, Measurements, Vertical, Horizontal, Trigger). Each channel and its related parameters can be identified by the use of an identical colour against a black background for simpler, quicker viewing.
