Taiwanese manufacturer Advantech has updated its labs in the UK and Germany to provide more localised support for developers using the Internet of Things (IoT).

Advantech’s UK lab in Woolwich, London, can build sample bespoke displays, replicate customer issues for further investigation, test hardware and check power-related issues, check signals on oscilloscope and build proof-of-concept models as well as screen test hardware in a thermal testing oven

Advantech has also expanded its Competence and Design-In Centre in  Germering, near Munich, Germany. This is equipped with state-of-the-art development and testing equipment including 3D printers for fast prototyping, vibration tables with up to 100G stress profiles and climatic chambers for temperature tests and aging simulations.
